Powered swivel seat

When you arrive at the top of the stairs, you will want to swivel your seat toward the landing for a safer exit. All Handicare stairlifts come with a manual swivel that is operated from a handle located at either side of the seat. In some cases, manual operation may not be possible, which is why Handicare provides a powered option. The powered swivel will automatically turn your stairlift seat toward the landing when you have reached the top of the staircase. If required, the powered swivel has a manual override for emergency release to allow for improved staircase access.
