Powered swivel seat

When you arrive at the top of the stairs, you will need to swivel your seat round so that you exit onto the landing safely. All Handicare stairlifts come with a manual swivel that is operated from a handle located at either side of the seat. In some cases, this may not be possible, which is why Handicare offer a powered swivel option which will automatically swivel the seat when the stairlift reaches the top of the stairs. If required, the powered swivel has a manual override for emergency release to allow improved staircase access.
